HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! From Piper’s family: “A big thank you from Pipers family!! All the great support from everyone kept the family going when hope started to dwindle. Thanks to everyone who helped, supported, and took the time to send along loving words, it means a lot to all of us.”  A live trap finally got this cutie who was just so scared out there by herself.  Thanks to her owners commitment to getting her home.  And thanks to all who cared and shared. Yeah!!! (9.1.12 – 9.11.12)

UPDATED SIGHTING: Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 – “Was seen near bike and bean today however the man thought he saw a collar but then wasn’t sure she has no collar???? There are a lot of people looking in that area!”

UPDATED SIGHTING: Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 – Piper was was spotted by a hiker on the BLT (Beechville, Lakeside, Timberlea) trail in Hubbard’s, heading towards Halifax. Tiffany has rented a bicycle and is searching for Piper along the trail.

Breed or Mix: Rhodesian Ridgeback

Sex: Female, Age: 15 months

Collar/Tags: Slipped out of collar.

Lost on: 09/01/2012

Area: Chester Basin, Chester, Lunenburg Co., NS

Additional Notes: Please help bring Piper home. She was last seen near Chester Basin on Friday, August 31 at noon when she slipped out of her collar. She is a 15 month Rhodesian Ridgeback who is shy and may not approach if called by name. Piper is far from home and her owners are desperately searching for her.

    I am back in Toronto but was in Chester this afternoon and heard about the RR pup on the loose.

    Having two myself I was so worried for you……just got in and found out your baby is back home !
