Additional Notes: Black with long hair, buff colored underside and lower legs. Timid temperment, weights about 90 pounds. Escaped invisible fence this morning around 10am (August 14). Reports of sightings near Bains Road and Middle Dyke Road in Sheffield Mills. Owner information on dog tag.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yippee!! Animal Control was able to find the owners almost immediately. Thanks to the finder who took the time to catch this dog and bring it to safety. Terrific! (3.11.13 – 4.5.13)

Additional Notes: This is not my dog but a dog that has been roaming our neighbourhood for several weeks. We first only noticed him at night and then he started running around during the day between my house and a neighbour who has dog family members like we do. He looks cared for ie. his coat looks good as do his teeth. He was skittish at first but we got his trust today so that we could leash him and call Animal Control. We find him to be be very friendly now that he has decided we are ok! He has no tags but does have a red collar.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! First message from Owners: “He’s Home…I’m so excited , I can’t type!” Ha-ha… Fantastic! “Rico was finally lured into safety. Yip YIPEEEE “He is very happy to be home…hungry but more tired than anything …and whines if Victor tries to leave his side. Everyone is happy…except the cat!!! Thank you ever so much for having the Lost Dog Network….we very much appreciated everyone’s help and concern.” (4.1.13 – 4.9.13)
