HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! We thank the finders for keeping these two boys safe and for taking them to the Vet. They will be going home shortly minus the quills! (6.22.18 – 6.22.18)

Area: Auburndale, Lunenburg, NS

Additional Notes: MALE: Lab/ Golden mix (?), adult, dark blond coat, not wearing a collar, quilled. MALE: German Shepherd/ Lab mix (?), adult, black and tan coat, not wearing a collar, quilled. BOTH dogs found on June 22/18.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From his new friends: “The old dog found their owners. Thanks to this network. No wonder the dog was tired….. 13 years old is very senior for a lab.” Thanks so much to the finder for keeping this senior safe and then getting it to the mainland safely as well. Thanks to Homeward Bound City Pound for getting this dog back home Thanks as well to all who cared and shared his info…it works! Yippee!! (5.9.18 – 5.11.18)

Area: Petpeswick, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: An old golden retriever just swam over to my island in Petpeswick (Cross Island) He’s very large. Been here about three hours. Gave him water and a little food. I already have an older female lab. … I phoned neighbours in West Petpeswick but no one knows who owns him. No collar. He seems too tired to swim back. He can stay here a few days until his owners are found.
