HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yeah!! From the Owner: “Our dog came home this morning no worse for the wear after being missing for two days. Thank you very much for your  concern and your  efforts.” (3.2.13 – 3.3.13)

Breed or Mix: Catahoula Leopard Dog

Sex: Female, Age: 3 1/2 Yrs Old

Collar/Tags: Green collar, Lunenburg County dog tag, small bell

Area:  Sleepy Hollow Road,, OaKland, Lunenburg, NS

Additional Notes: Mardee is a medium sized dog, about 45 lbs. She has icy blue eyes that appear almost white, her color is black and grey with white bits (called blue merle). There is a white blaze on her forehead. She has short hair. She is friendly but does tend to bark at young boys. We got her from a shelter so don’t know if perhaps something happened with the original owner’s children. She is reluctant to get into any vehicle, but she will get in with a little patience. Besides her collar, she was also wearing a chest harness with a green lead rope attached.
