Additional Notes: Around supper time last night the wind blew the beagles kennel off of their wooden floor and they were able to escape! Edge was found around Donnie Porters in Lower Onslow but Bono was not with him. He is a very friendly dog, loves people, if you are able to grab him, he can also be taken to Green Diamond, just ask for Keith. We heard him barking in the woods between Oakland Dr and the Fort Belcher Rd

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From his Family: ”Duke was found safe and sound today at 3:00 pm. What a scare and what a great relief. Many thanks to the Lost Dog Network and all of the Lower Canard people who responded. Great thanks to Danny Knock who spotted Duke and got to a phone quickly.” (10.23.14-10.24.14)

Additional Notes: Lost dog – Duke a 12 year old purebred beagle with an ear tattoo. He was last seen on the Canard dyke near the aboiteau just before dark on Oct. 23rd. He is very friendly and would likely go to a near-by house. He does not travel far due to his age and congestive heart disease. He has typical beagle markings however is quite grey due to his age.
