Around 4:30pm (Saturday June18, 2011) on Princess Margret Blvd I spotted a white and brown Chihuahua running along the sidewalk near the self storage place. I stopped to try and catch him since no one was anywhere near the area at the time. He/she was timid and just ran along away from me and headed towards the 111/bridge ramp exits. Didn’t appear to be wearing a collar either. I hope he/she finds their way home soon. 🙁

2 LOST DOGS: New Glasgow/Greenhill area – missing 16/06 am. One is black her name is Bella, 2 years old, she has a white spot on her chest, not wearing a collar, and has a little bald spot on her head. The other one is white/tan in color, her name is Whistle she is 1 year old, she has a pink collar on, and has black spots on her tongue. They’re the same size, medium. They’re most likely together. FOUND: Roaming Dog: Schnauzer/Poodle Mix, male, black, clipped - Garden Rd, Nine Mile Ricer/Belnan/Elmsdale Area
FOUND DOG: on Garden Road. Nine Mile River/ Belnan/ Elmsdale area. MALE DOG: Schnauzer, poodle mix (?) mid sized black dog with a red collar/white paw prints on it. It has some graying on back with long tail. He has been clipped as well. Please contact Melissa at 259-2131. If you know who this dog belongs to.

June 14/11 – HAPPY ENDING: Home safe n’ sound:
“At 11:30 tonight our dogs arrived at the door,3 days and 6 hours after they disappeared. We all laughed and cried at the same time. Sophie and Rosa were wet, tired, and hungry and had quite a few ticks on them but were otherwise in very good shape. Rosa was especially traumatized by the whole thing but they are sleeping peacefully now so I would say that we are one lucky family. Thanks to all my friends who gave us much needed support, esp. JoAnne who opened a few doors so that we could get the best help. I will always be grateful.
Yippee!! What wonderful news!! It must have been something to hear the dogs at the door… I would have loved to have been there… fantastic!!
