Collar/Tags: Spencer was not wearing a collar but is registered with the Municipality of Chester

Lost on: 01/18/2012

Area: 1027 Fraxville Road, New Ross, Lunenburg, NS

Additional Notes: Spencer was last seen near a home on the Forties Road. He took off with my other male dog but the other dog was caught and we haven’t seen him since. He is copper colored and very friendly. I am afraid he’s either got caught in a coyote trap or killed by coyotes. Hoping someone can provide some information on Spencer’s whereabouts whether good news or bad.

Additional Notes: Ninga went missing in the woods between Canaan Mountain Road and Hwy 12. She has severe food allergies and is on medication for thyroid. Even if she has been killed in a snare, or found dead under other circumstances, please let me know!

Two dogs escaped, Reserve Mines, Cape Breton, NS – Top dog is Kale, female, Lab/Hound Mix, tan, very gentle, Harley Davidson Collar and the bottom dog is Gizmo, male, Beagle/Hound Mix, black brindle/white,  red collar, very gentle as well.

Additional Notes: I’m sending this for my friend who has lost her darling Bulldog, Sarge. He went missing in Ontario. There has been an extensive search for him in the area. We have been asked to send a photo and info to all of the dog networks in Canada just in case someone picked him up, so people can keep their eyes open for him.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Lost Dog: North Sydney Area, Cape Breton, NS – Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever Mix, male, white/cream, ~105lbs, no collar – "Toby"

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Toby was hit by a car, yesterday 1/19/12,  on the highway and passed away.  The driver is devastated.  Toby’s family is devastated.  We all wish them heartfelt condolences for their loss of a good friend and family member.  So very, very sad.  Thank you to all who shared Toby’s info, who kept an eye out for him, and for those who went out to search.  (1/19/12 – 1/19/12)

SIGHTED: Roaming Dog: Main St towards Westphal Area, Dartmouth, NS – Shepherd Mix, male, collar & tags, seems friendly

Sighted: Roaming Dog: Hello, I was walking my dogs today and saw a stray/lost shepherd mix. He was coming from the Akerley Campus in Dartmouth, he crossed Main st and went towards the Westphal area, it was around noon today (Jan 19) He had a collar and tags on, I was unable to get to him but he seems ok and friendly.  Please call HRM Animal Services if you see this dog or have any information 490-4000
