HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yeah!!! He showed up the next day, and while following the ‘finder’ to the corner store for dog food, the Owners family friend came along looking for him… perfect timing.  Everyone was thrilled including the dog.  Thanks for all the help.  (1.13.13 – 1.14.13)

Additional Notes: Dog was found off the logging trail in Stillwater Lake near Haliburton Subdivision. He is definitely a senior dog and blind or limited sight – he has that blueish cast to his eyes. Animal Control has just picked him up.

UPDATE: SIGHTING – 4.16.13: From the Owner: “This dog has been missing since January 13th. – and has been sited today on the North Ohio Road and also on the track – when it was originally lost it had a collar and GPS with identification on both but when sited today both collars are missing – if you see this dog please call 742-4506 (home) or cell 749-6348 so we can check to see if it is indeed our missing Prince. Thank you for your help.”

Additional Notes: The dog is small and recently had a short hair cut, her feet do not have long hair like they do in the picture. She is very friendly and likes to get into garbage….. She likes to be picked up and petted and like to cuddle up someplace warm. She is sweet and gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. She is food orientated and will come to you for a treat.

She is a mini Schnauzer (about 10lbs) She has silver/grey fur and a black nose. She has a ‘beard’

She was let out to pee….. with three other dogs…. all came back except for her

Additional Notes: Sniper went out the morning of January 9th for his morning pee break. Usually comes immediately back in for breakfast, but was nowhere to be seen just 10 mins later. Hasn’t returned since. We are very worried. His best friend Bailey is missing him terribly. Sniper has a very thick light yellow fur and is medium to large size.

Area:  Carroll’s Corner Community Centre, 9 Milford Rd, Carroll’s Corner, HRM, NS

Additional Info:  This dog was sighted roaming area. It was dark out and a dark dog so it was hard to get details. The sighters tried for a long time to catch this dog and left out some foods to keep it the area. They will try again tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for this dog if your are in or near the area.
