Additional Notes: I spotted this large, mostly white dog crossing Inverness Ave near Purcell’s Cove Rd at around 5:45pm. He went in between some houses. He(?) has a big black spot on his back and didn’t seem to be wearing a collar. I could be wrong on the breed, but that sort of thick neck and stocky body. Hope s/he finds his/her people soon! Called 311 and Animal Control are coming out.

Additional Notes: Medium sized shepherd/husky looking mix. Mainly black with brown/tan markings on his legs and neck. Would guess about 50lbs. Was very timid but not vocal. Seen around 8:15pm on Masons Beach Road, First South/Lunenburg, NS. Had a collar but couldn’t tell if had tags as it was dark.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yippee!! From Family Friends: “SHE HAS BEEN FOUND AND IS SAFE!!!! AND FINE!”  Wonderful news. Thanks to all who went out searching on this wet and cold night, and thanks to all those that shared her info. Yeah!! (1.4.15 – 1.4.15)

 

NOTE: 1.4.15 – Marley was hit by a vehicle, and ran off. It is unknown at this time if she is injured and if so, how badly. Please report any sightings immediately to her owners. Please check your yards, under decks, shrubs and outbuildings…she may be hiding. Thank you.

Additional Info: Marley was hit by a truck in Bridgewater on King Street at Phoenix at about 7 pm today (Jan 4) and took off running … up through town, away from the river. Lots of people are out looking (thanks so much!) We don’t know how badly she is hurt. She is normally a friendly dog, a 7 month old blue tick coonhound.

Just had an accident on Colby Drive, near Grenadier. A medium sized chocolate lab ran into the street and I hit him… Pretty hard. By the time I pulled the car over and got out it had run off. I found some tracks but they appear to have been from before the accident. I couldn’t tell what direction the dog went in. We drove around the area but couldn’t find it. If anyone has or knows of someone in this area that has a chocolate lab, please ensure your dog hasn’t gotten loose.
