RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: Please join us in sending Jewel’s family heartfelt condolences. From her family: “Thank you to everyone who shared our post about Jewel and helped look for her. We are heartbroken to say a neighbour found her body in the ditch near our house. We can only assume she was hit by a car although nobody came forward to say so. Most of our neighbours were familiar with Jewel and I just hope she didn’t suffer…💙 We’ll miss that happy face and wagging tail greeting us each and every day 🐕 ☹️” We hope that in time, memories of sweet faced Jewel will only bring happy thoughts and smiles. Her owners are away on vacation and there is another family at the home house sitting. Jewel is very anxious when not at her home and will pant, bark to get out of an unfamiliar surrounding. Additional Notes: Our two rescue dogs ( brothers) we have had since Dec 31, 2014. They got out today (Friday August 3, 2018) when the gate did not completely close. We have driven around the neighbourhood. Call for them every 15 to 30 minutes. The fire trucks went by after 3 hours and not a howl from either of them. They are believed to be blue tick beagles approx 50lbs each about 5 years old. They are spoiled. Please report any sightings immediately. #NSLostDogNetBaxterJake
