Additional Notes: slender build, black and tan markings through out, tan face black snout, very “crimped” tuffts on ears. Extremly timid, will bark continuously when approached but completely harmless, just very nervous, espicially of men. Loves other animals, children and treats.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound!! From the Owners: “GREAT NEWS MOLLY WAS FOUND Molly was found In Hilden at the Scotia Pine Campground and is now at home resting . She is about 5 lbs lighter but other than that she looks good . A gentelman walking his dogs spotted her and called me Tuesday morning saying that Molly was on a picnic table looking pretty relaxed . When I got there she was walking around the last trailer near the woods and was then out of sight . I called her name and she came back around the corner and stopped to look . I then tossed 1/2 a hot dog towards her she smelled it and then just ran to me and from then on the sun shone brightly .

Many thanks to all who came out and helped to look and provided support . Without everyones incouragement and help this would have been a much more difficult task than what it was .

Additional Notes: She is ~ 60 lbs . She is freindly but is shy with people . Was lost Feb 1 2012 . I saw her on Feb 2nd in Milbrook in the park near the woods . Once I got within 500 ft of her she fled . Obviously in shock . She was heading back towards the Truro Industrial Park

UPDATE: 2/6/12 – From the Owner: From the Owner: “Nothing yet. I am going crazy. I wish who ever took her has a heart and brings her back to me. I miss her so much. My heart aches without her please, please, please bring her back to me. I’m begging you please bring her back to me.”

Though we don’t know at this time that she was actually taken, she is still missing.

Additional Notes: My dog is my baby i need her back.  I have a cash reward for whoever returns her.  I was at my daughters in Maitland, on Hirtle Rd when she went missing . She is little, only about 16 pounds, all black with a little white on her chest and a litttle brown on her nose.  She knows her name, Sammie, very well.  She will come to anyone . She is just like my daughter I have been none stop crying and looking out my daughters windows and doors calling for her since yesterday when she went missing.  We serched the woods and went door to door.  No one has seen her which makes me believe that someone might have picked her up on the road. I have barley slept and wont sleep till she is at least found. Please everyone help me find her or pray for me that she will return home safe.  Thank you everyone for helping and taking the time to read this, it means alot to me for her to come home safe and sound. Area: Mountville Rd, 1st Dirt Rd on Right after Old Motor Vehicle Branch, MacLellan’s Brook, Pictou, NS

Additional Notes:  He is a big happy go luck dog, big floppy ears, will bark at people, and kids to play, he is not aggressive.  He loves kids, people, other dogs to play with.  He likes to come up to you, rub his back on your legs and sit on your feet.  He is very overgrown, playful, when he is home he lays on floor to eat.  He loves his big stick he plays with… he is our big baby.  He is cat friendly, all animal friendly as my animals were raised with different animals. He is soo friendly. His name is Bentley. We are sick without him, as he has never been gone this long.  His Aunt Cleeo, a long lanky think black lab is with him, she is very shy and timid, will not bite.  She is very wiggly in the bum when nervous.  They have been gone since 5 pm, Wed evening and haven’t been back.  Very out of character for them.  They were playing outside with my husband, got a sniff of something and took off.  They do this sometimes but are home in an hour.  Bentley is tan with black saddle markings, floppy ears, neutered, and some white on his chest.  Please if anyone seems him or his Aunt Cleeo, the lanky thin Black Lab…

UPDATE: 4/17/12 – From his Owners:  “We have had 4 reports in the last week that he has been seen in the village of New Germany around the upper bridge and the old mill.”  Please, if anyone has friends, family, acquaintances, co-workers that live, work, pass through this area, please share Radar’s info… Sightings are what will get this lost dog home.  If you see him or have seen him please call 644-3838 at any time.  Thank you!

 

UPDATE: 2/20/12 – From his Owners:  “Radar is still missing. We continue to look for him daily as do some of our friends. He is missed very much. If you see him or have seen him please call 644-3838 at any time. He may be hiding out in an old building or such. Reluctant to got o people. Very timid. Please keep an eye out for him.”

 

UPDATE:  2/7/12  –  Lynda Benoit The family may be getting close to finding Radar. It appears somebody has been laying on the comforter and eating the food they left by the Mill..But they haven’t seen him yet. Let’s keep our paws crossed that Radar is back home soon.
