Additional Notes: Spike is a 10 year old border terrier who is beyond friendly. his hair is wirey and a little bit soft in parts. He’s about 13 pounds and very loving. He loves food and comes when you call his name. He has a tattoo that is faded inside his ear from being a purebred. He has cushions disease so his memory is going and he was outside with my dad and wandered off. He has done this before and we have checked all the places he normally goes and he is not there. We are scared as to where he is because it is cold out but Spike is not one to be outside in the cold. We would love him back.

Yippee!! “This black lab’s owners found her – they filed a lost dog report and it matched the one I sent in  She was being dog sat up the street, she is originally from the valley that’s why nobody on the street recognized her. Additional Notes: Found lost dog – Rockingham, Haiifax NS  Female black lab, older (has grey face), larger, very friendly, plaid collar but no tags, very friendly, seems to have hurt paw/ is limping. Dandruffy hair. Being kept at HRM dog shelter because my own chocolate lab puppy is way too excited and I cant keep her in her cage all day.

Additional Notes: He’s a black lab mix, wearing tags with our information. Asskim has a bad leg and walks with a limp. He has a stumpy tail. Asskim can forget his way home due to his age – he’s been missing since 8:00 pm Tuesday Night, January 21, 2014. He followed a stray dog out of our yard and we lost track of him in the nearby woods. Various sightings of him the first week, then nothing. We live close to the border with Nova Scotia and may be in your area.

Additional Notes: This is a sighting of a black retriever today at 3pm, last seen on conolly rd in lower sackville near sackville heights. Timid will run if approached. He or she was in the roadway before running into the woods. Animal control was called but they couldn’t find the dog

He was along the power lines by a small farm on the Barrs Corner Road, caught in a coyote snare. he is doing fine and going to see the vet today. HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! From the Owner: “WE FOUND HIM THANK YOU ALL OF YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!! I can never ever show you how much you have all meant to me!! Thank you!!”  Just wonderful news… yeah!!  (2.7.14 – 2.8.14)

The Moment he was found:

“Yes we decided to drive down waverly rd and put up some more posters and knock on some doors. We were going pretty slow so we decided to pull over and let a car pass and josh (my boyfriend) looks up and says “Jess – holy s!@*” so I slowly get out with some pepperoni sticks. He was standing in a driveway looking like he was contemplating crossing the road so I got really low and said arlo want to go for a car ride and I was throwing pieces to him and he slightly darted up the driveway so josh rolled forward in the car and rolled the window down and threw pieces of pepperoni at him and he gobbled them up so he got out and crouched low and once he saw it was josh he ran straight for him wagging his tail like crazy and josh picked him up and hugged him and we both bawled like babies!!!!”
