Yeah!! From her new friends: “OWNERS have been located and we are on the way to take her home!!! happy ending!” This is the best news…so thrilled this pooch was kept safe in this bitterly cold weather. Area: New Aberdeen (Glace Bay), Cape Breton, NS

Additional Notes: The female dog was picked up in New Aberdeen yesterday and now is with her Sister-in-law, Wanda, on Timmerman, Glace Bay. The dog is a female and is a short dog with short legs, blue collar with chain link and her leash was attached to her and the color of leash is red and the dog was dragging around attached to her. She doesn’t look like a senior dog. She is white with brown on her ears and brown at the start of her tail. She is friendly.

My dogs took off and unfortunately only one came back .. the other one that didn’t is only a 8 week old puppy 😞 He is black , huge paws , big floppy ears , big white patch on his chest with bits of white on his paws and he’s wearing a red Christmas collar , he’s every friendly .. he knows his name (Anubis ) – he’d hopefully be around the guest drive /college road /pictou road area .. but we’ve been looking and can’t find him anywhere 😞

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! This sweetie was taken in by some kind neighbours Christmas Day and Animal Control took her in to safety Boxing Day. The owner was found, and was told where she was – our job is done. Fantastic work, I’m sure she was home in time for some leftover turkey – thanks to all who cared and shared her info. YIPPEE!! Additional Notes: Leroy just came home with us (1 hr) as he needed to be rehomed and we offered to take him in. He took off in the Hubley area and likely on the BLT trail as it connects with our road. I hope that someone took him in last night. Please keep your eye out for this scared little man…any help is greatly appreciated.
