Happy Ending: YEAH!!! Buddy is home, safe and sound. He was indeed at the SPCA, thanks Gis… however, they did call yesterday and the SPCA  said he wasn’t there. Once again, please be sure and visit your SPCA with posters and call often. A different employee/volunteer was able to id Buddy and he is home safe now. Fantastic! And thanks to the SPCA for getting him off the dangerous streets! Thanks everyone! Yippee!!

Yesterday, July 15th, my dog, Buddy, went missing in the Hebron area. He is a little river, and golden retriever mix. If any information is known about this dog, please contact…He has no coller, at the moment, either as he broke one, and slipped out of the other.

Happy Ending: The owners have been reunited with their pooch thanks to these kind people who took this dog in… and thanks to all who helped.  Yeah!!

 

Found wandering on Brooklyn st. near Woodville. Saturday, July 16th.

He is very friendly, I would guess he has lab in him and maybe shepherd? (see pics). He is wearing a brown leather collar.

SIGHTING: Highway 103 BRIDGEWATER EXIT 12/ the back side of the Rafuse Equipment building on the highway! Golden Lab? has a collar and tags. Tried to get the dog but did not want to chase it into traffic. Thank you Kristopher for trying and also notifying us! Does anyone know someone who is missing what appears to be an older dog? HAPPY ENDING: Joey was returned to her owner this morning, Sunday July 17, 2011.  Thanks to all those who helped in her return… it’s just fantastic!!

LOST DOG: ANTIGONISH/Female: BICHON – 8 years old Name: JOEY She is very social – was wearing Stan Rogers scarf and a brown, green and purple collar. SIGHTING on Thursday 14th around Beach Hill Road and also the Dollar Store on Main Street. She has a bladder condition and needs her meds. (JanetC) She did get a summer trim so ears are less full looking and her hair is now just starting grow out – so she is not as shaggy as this picture

LOST DOG: BEDFORD – Rocky Lake Dr. Female BEAGLE 9 year old tri -coloured – wearing red collar with HRM tag. Went missing 10 pm Friday the 15th. NAME: LEXI Lexi is very sweet and approachable.

HAPPY ENDING: Home safe and sound with its owners thanks to the great work of her rescuer Trish, who took the time to keep this pup safe and go looking for it’s owner.  Sweet!!! Thanks Trish and everyone that spread the word about lost and found dogs.

 

FOUND: Roaming Dog: Lab, chocolate, young - Pleasant/Glenwood St Area, Truro

I am in Truro, Nova Scotia, and have found a Chocolate Lab Pup at 6-8months old – has a tag that has name – Ally or Ali ?? hard to read, tag is rusty….but seems to respond to that name.

Found in the Pleasant Street, Glenwood Street area.

LOST DOG: Our dog got off his chain on Saturday, July 9, 2011 and we havent seem him yet, He is a medium sized dog, brown in color and has floppy ears. If anyone has him or has seen him around, please contact 241-2881 or 736-6474. He answers to the name of  Deoggie, He isnt wearing a collar as he got out of it when on his leash. Please if you have him or seen him travelling around please contact us, he is a family pet and is missed dearly….

FOUND: Roaming Dog: German Shepherd, female, young adult - Hwy 236 between Princeport road and Old Barns Fire Hall, Colchester Co.

Hi, I found a female german sheppard running down the side of Hwy 236 between the road to Princeport and the Old Barns fire hall on Sunday, July 10. She did not have a collar or tags and two of the houses in the immediate area told me she had been running around the neighborhood for the past two days but no one knew anything about her. I took her home and then took her to the vet on Monday morning to check her for a chip – no success. I have reported her to animal control, left a message with NSPCA in Truro and called the Big Dog radio station to report I had found her. I would like to get her back home if I can. I do not have a picture of her yet but she appears and acts like she is about a year old and other than being a bit thin she is in good health and is well socialized with people and other dogs. Can you help me find her owners? My home phone is 902-261-2912 and work is 902-491-7430.

LOST DOG: Upper Nine Mile River/ East Hants County MALE: White boxer/Valley Bulldog mix – 8 years old, weighs approx 55 pounds has a micro chip not wearing a collar. He has some ‘scar’ marks around his muzzle. NAME: CAPONE Wandered away on Monday the 12th. He is an extremely friendly dog.
