Happy Ending: Both dogs came home exhausted and dirty, but are safe and sound at home. YIPPEE!!!! Fantastic… thanks to everyone that shared this info.

missing since yesterday, August 12, 2011.. One is female,, she is 3 years old and is wearing a dark brown leather collar.. She has white tip feet and is very timid towards strangers.. She’s harmless and has never tried to bite anyone, nor ever shown any aggressiveness.. She’s a cross breed of golden lab and border collie.. But all gold.. Her name is Honey..
The other is a male,, she is mixed Maltese and Pomeranian.. He looks nothing like a pom though, except for his tail.. He’s all black,, but sort of looks like he has got some grey coming through.. He’s small and his hair doesn’t look like the picture right now.. It’s been cut short.. His name is Winston.. He has never left my yard before and it’s unusual for him to do so.. These are the best pictures I have of them right now..
They are from Meaghers Grant area/Middle Musquodoboit.
Honey would probably run from you or bark,, Winston i’m not sure,, but probably would come to you..
Please if anyone has seen our pets, let us know,, we miss them already..

This is NOT actual dog, just an example of the breed... she is older, heavier.
LOST DOG: Hammonds Plains/ Kimara Drive area Female: Daschund – senior 10 years old. She is very overweight and nervous, not wearing a collar. She is brown in color and grey on her muzzle. Found husky while working on a bridge in Kemptown, NS on the New River road. He was wearing a large chain (with a small padlock on it). He has blue eyes, healthy – not shying away from people, doesn’t seem neglected.. not too skinny, etc.. He is not fixed. My husband checked at the local general store (Scott’s bakery and variety) He left his name and # at the store and also called Big Dog radio to advertise him on lost and found. He was found this morning, Thursday Aug 11/11 around 10am.
