HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound!! Both dogs are now home.  Thanks to everyone that shared their info and offered to help with the search.  We are so happy for the dogs and their family and friends.  Yippee!! Updated Dec 17/11

The two (2) female White/Cream Standard Poodles went missing around 3 p.m. on December 9th; they went missing from their home in Chalet Hamlet, Lower Vaughan NS. One of the females is on medication for seizures and the two dogs are together as far as we know.  They answer to the names Raffi and Buffy.

It has now been 24 hours and they may have travelled through the woods as far as Three Mile Plains- Falmouth or Windsor If anyone sees the pair could they …

LOST DOG: Oxford/Cumberland County MALE: Black Lab mixed with Border Collie, wearing an orange collar, weighs about 50lbs. NAME: Buck. He is very gentle kind loving dog to a family of 2 small kids. SIGHTED: Roaming Puppy: Choc Lab, about 4 months old, no collar – On St Margaret's Bay Rd by Devonshire Ave, HRM, NS

Sighted, a chocolate Lab puppy was seen playing on the shoulder of the road on St Margaret’s Bay Rd, opposite Devonshire Ave. This is between Parkland and Greenwood Heights. Once traffic had subsided an attempt to catch it failed as it ran off into the woods and couldn’t be found. It had no collar, and looked about 4 months old.
Animal Control was called, but of seen again please call them at 490-4000.

HAPPY ENDING: Home Safe n’ Sound: She’s home with her family.  Thanks to the Acadia Students that caught and took this dog to safety! Great Work.  Thanks to the Wolfville Vet Hospital for keeping her safe and warm.  She was new to the area, and decided to wonder… Silly girl!  Thanks to all who cared and shared.  Yippee!! FOUND: Roaming Dog: Border Collie/Chow Mix, female, red with black longer fur, collar, friendly – Save Easy, Main St, Wolfville, NS This sweet girl was found wandering near the Grocery Store on Main Street in Wolfville. She had a collar, no tags, and was very friendly. No micro chip. She is at the Wolfville Vet Hospital on Front St and will be handed over to Animal Control. Call Wolfville Vet: 542-3422 or Animal Services at 678-3647. Thanks!

SIGHTING: Ashburn Golf Course/ 3250 Joseph Howe Drive/HRM MALE: small dog terrier mix? Black and Tan – scruffy fur. Wearing a red collar with a coin shape tag. Dog walker spotted this dog at approx. 2pm – he followed her group BUT would not let him near enough to grab him. Heather has called Animal Services to report and they are on there way. RAINBOW BRIDGE: Windsor/ 101 Highway – brown and white brindle looking dog, bull dog type,  hit by a vehicle on the 101 heading towards Windsor where the highway goes from divided to single highway…on the Falmouth side.
