HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound! Yippee!! Thanks to all the kind folks that were so concerned about Zazu and took the time to share her info.  Just Terrific!!  (3.15.12 – 3.17.12)

STOLEN: Halifax/5381 Spring Garden Road Library/HRM FEMALE: Border Collie cross, 5 months old, wearing a red nylon collar and a black leather collar with red and white hearts with a gay pride dogtag in the shape of a bone. She has a red mark on her back left foot, a small chunk missing out of her nose. NAME: Zazu. She is extremely friendly. We would advise not to approach the person who allegedly took this dog. “There is video footage of a 50yr old Caucasian male with dark clothes untieing her from my bag and leaving with her, headed up Spring Garden Road.” March 15/12 at 7pm.

At 8 am this morning, (March 11), there was a stray/lost dog sighted on the Beaver River Rd, Beaver River, Nova Scotia. I am unsure of the breed – looked similar to a weimerarer (spelling?) but the coloring is different. white muzzle, remainder of face and ears are reddish brown, body is speckled brown, white. wearing a red collar with black snap, no tags. Male, not neutered. I managed to get him to come to me but he resisted coming in my vehicle, very nervous and scared. hope the owner finds him!  (3.11.12 –

RAINBOW BRIDGE:  It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that Taz has passed away.  From the Owners: “Thanks for all your help, but we found him.  Sorry to say, but it looks like he fell into a brook and was swept away into a lake.  We pulled him from the water yesterday and buried him.  At least we know what happened to him.  Thanks again to all who looked.  From Gord, Shelly, and Kids.”  Our sincerest condolences go out to Taz’s family at this difficult time.  May they one day be able to look back with joy at all the wonderful moments a dog can bring.  Thank you to all who took the time to share Taz’s info… always wonderful.  (3.11.12 – 4.19.12)

HAPPY ENDING: The Owner has been Found!!  It’s a private affair now, but lets all send good thoughts to a successful and quick recovery.  Thank you to all the wonderful people that stepped up to help this pup… from the person who picked her up in the first place, to the locals organizing a fund raiser, the vets that kept her safe, and all you who shared her info.  Wonderful!! A beagle mix puppy around nine monts old has been found in north grant antigonish county. The vet has her now and cannot perform surgery without consent from owner but owner can’t be found. SIGHTING: Debert/Colchester County MALE: Yellow Lab “There has been a roaming Yellow Lab on Grey Rd in Debert, Nova Scotia, it has be sighted a few times in the last couple weeks, been in and out of peoples yards and does not let us approach to catch it. We are hoping that it is not a drop off. We have Notified Animal Control of this dog and they are keeping a eye out for it but if anyone sees this dogs and can catch him could you please contact animal control to come pick it up before something happens to this dog..897-3175.
