Area: Purdy’s Wharf Area – Trapeze Restaurant, Casino Nova Scotia, 1983 Upper Water Street  Halifax, NS

Additional Info:  There is a dog with tags wandering by Purdy’s…he is black white and brown med size and looks about 4 or older.  I believe it was a he, could see a collar and a dog bone shape tag.  Brown, black, and white.  Medium sized around 50 to 60 pounds just by looking at him and his back would have been about knee high.  He looking older..like four or older.

Additional Info:  Missing Dogs: sheppard lab mix and a beagle in the membertou/sydney area. Both are female and are the bestest of best friends so they are more than likely together. Both are black, white and brown. The beagle goes by the name Connie and the mix goes by the name of Rudy. Rudy is wearing a faded pink collar and Connie doesn’t have her collar on but she has an ID number tattooed in her ear. Both leashes are still on their houses. We live so close to the highway and connector road that they can be anywhere. Our family is just completely heartbroken with their absence. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Additional Info:  This dog was sighted roaming area. It was dark out and a dark dog so it was hard to get details. The sighters tried for a long time to catch this dog and left out some foods to keep it the area. They will try again tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for this dog if your are in or near the area.

Someone could be keeping her for breeding or sale purposes. We are willing to offer a reward with no questions asked for any information leading to her return.”

 

UPDATE: 1.15.13 – SIGHTING: Thursday January 10, 2013: From the Owner – “This afternoon we had a call from folks who live across the road from the Oakfield Park Road. Late last week (Thursday?) they recalled seeing a small black dog that they did not recognize (and which seemed to be alone) running through the small field between the road and the Anglican Church. At the time they did not know that Coal was missing because they had not seen the posters. If this dog was Coal it gives us some hope that she wasn’t taken by an animal on Wednesday evening. Let’s hope that we get a fresh sighting soon!!”
