Additional Info: Just saw a very dirty dog on the trail. He looks quite lost (I think it’s a he but I don’t know). He was the size of a standard poodle, long hair but could be a golden doodle or some sort of poodle mix. Apricot in colour and has a tag… He/she wanted to hang out with me but wouldn’t come any closer. It seemed quite lost and then turned around and began walking on the trail again…

He had some chafing around his neck and only 6’ of leash left, so he must have been stuck for a while before chewing loose. He’s doing fine and being well cared for by his very happy owner. Additional Info: Found on Burris Drive in Valley/Bible Hill area. I came across this little dog (a female) tonight in the backyard. She was pretty muddy and dirty but she’s white with a light brown splotch on her side and same color on her ears and top of her head. Her skin is spotted black and you can see it on her underbelly. We will keep her safe for the night and then she will be going to central nova vet clinic on Main Street in Bible Hill at 8 am so the local animal control can attempt to find her home. In the meantime if someone is looking for her please let me know. Seems sweet and house broken was friendly and appears good with other dogs. Thank you.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away – It is with heavy hearts that we share the death of an English Springer Spaniel on Hwy 103, near exit 4. We can only conclude that it is the same dog that was sighted a few weeks ago chasing ducks across the highway. His luck ran out. We also want to send our thoughts out to the folks that had the misfortune of hitting this dog. So sad all around. Thank you to all here who help missing dogs by sharing their info and help in bringing them home safely. (6.15.14)
