HAPPY ENDING: New Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Griffon, as he is now named, has been adopted by his finders, after the owner was located and relinquished ownership due to family circumstances.  Griffon and his new sister are best of friends and it is one big happy family now.  Wonderful news… Congratulations to his new family!  Updated Dec 1/11

HAPPY ENDING: Home Safe n’ Sound: Chester was sighted by a great person who called the owners immediately.  They were able to find Chester about 5 km away from home… looked like he was in the woods for a while.  He is recovering at home after being a very frightened dog… his anxiety is getting better every day and he is slowly returning to his happy self. SIGHTED: Roaming Dog: Lab/Hound Mix (?), female, red, tall - Sylvester, Pictou Co., NS

HAPPY ENDING: Safe n’ Sound!!!  THANK YOU ROY for taking the time and effort to catch this roaming dog and getting her to safety.  Roy went so far as to set up a live trap, and after several failed attempts, cleverly baited it with a steaming hotdog on a string… luring her into the back of the trap… Bingo!! Caught!  She is safe at the SPCA in Granton where she will be warm and dry tonight and will be looked over by a vet.  Just Fantastic!!  Thank you everyone for sharing her info.  She most likely will be available for adoption very soon.  Yippee!!!!  Updated Nov 25/11

Roaming dog: Sylvester, Pictou Co. FEMALE: Lab X She has been spotted chasing cars and also foraging for food. Update: Nov 25/11 There could be two of these dogs roaming as a sighting has been reported with two dogs coming out of the woods and crossing the road…with one chasing the car.
