Area: 41819 Cabot Trail, Wreck Cove, Victoria Co., NS

Additional Notes: Max was last seen in the vicinity of Sew Inclined, on the Cabot Trail in Wreck Cove, He is a MinPin with a red/brown coat. He is a very unique looking dog – he has his full tail and his ears have unique cuts in the tips – if you see him you will know it is him! He will most likely be hungry and cold, and will be searching food and shelter. He responds to “Max”, and to a firm command of, “Stay”, as long as there is eye contact.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From Meeshka’s very happy family: “Good news! We found Meeshka just today! A lovely lady took her in on … and called my cell. My son is over the moon to have her home!!!! HOORAY!!! She is skinny and hungry but Ok!!! Thanks so much for your help!!!” Fantastic news. Thanks so much to all who sleuthed this out and helped reunite Meeshka with her family. Thanks as well to all who have been caring and sharing her info. YIPPEE!! (9.7.17 – 9.15.17)

Additional Notes: She is a slim mid size dog with brown and white markings of a husky. Smooth short haired coat with pointy ears. She runs like the wind and is very timid around strangers, She is not aggressive but barks at strangers. She ran ahead of me before I clipped her to her lead and she bolted down the driveway and across the road. She ran in front of a van but I think it missed her as she veered and ran towards the neighbors and down through the woods. We have combed the fields and woods for her but if she just ran straight like she tends to do, she could have crossed the 101 highway through the back woods.
