Additional Notes: Calli: She is very friendly and approachable. She’s an elderly dog.. White in face and yellow in body! Lots of fatty bumps on chest and body. White spot on chest. Brown eyes. Micro Chipped and spayed ! Limps from arthritis. Bubba: He is very friendly and approachable.

MISSING – 2 dogs in Big Lake, Prospect Road (close to McGrath’s Cove/East Dover). Last seen on Saturday evening at 6 pm. The Beagle answers to Bubba and has an orange collar with his name on it. The lab is a yellow lab and has a collar on, but no name. The lab has a limp, so does not run very well and she answers to Calli. If seen or found, please contact immediately. Please share. UPDATE: 8.20.16 – Possible Sighting: Woodcrest Ave., Green Acres Subdivision, Spryfield, … A Beagle, believed to be Rosie was sighted in the Woodcrest Ave area on Friday night, August 19. This would make sense as it’s in the direction of the last known sighting. Please share Rosie’s info again as more sightings are needed. Thank you!

 

UPDATE: 7.31.16 around 7:00 p.m. – Sighting: End of Gemstone Ct., Leiblin Park, Spryfield, NS – ran behind house and into the woods. Very scared. Please report sightings immediately. Do Not Chase, Call to, Whistle or Clap at this dog as she is very skittish. Report sightings immediately, thank you.

Additional Notes: She is a ~3 year old female beagle with a black overcoat (saddle), brown head and white legs with brown poke-dots (ticking). She is very shy and is most likely hiding somewhere away from noises / people. She is NOT aggressive and is safe to approach. She will most likely try to run away though.

She managed to wiggle out of her harness in the afternoon of July 31 and proceeded to run from Williams Lake Road across Hering Cove Road towards the Spryfield Sobeys area which is where I lost sight of her.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! We were so privileged to be witnesses to Lola’s reunion with her Mom. A huge thanks to John, pictured here with Lynne and Lola moments after being reunited, and his wife Jana who saw her in their driveway. John tried to lure her towards him but she wasn’t having any of that. Luckily he was very determined to safe this little dog. John followed her down the road until she finally jumped the ditch and headed for cover. After searching with no success he headed home to find the owner but found us, Lynne and others, talking at the other end of the road. John drove Lynne, Lola’s Mom right to the spot she left the road not 15 minutes earlier. We came up after talking to some neighbours about the sighting and pulled over in the area and she just popped out of the brush onto the road. With all my training I went down low, really low, laying flat on the ground… that’s when I realized I was between Lola and her Mom, blocking her way. So much for helping!! Haha… Sure enough, I carefully moved to the side and Lola went right to Mom. Awe, it gave me chills and damp eyes. So beautiful. Big thanks to Jana and John, and all those that helped in the search. Thanks to all who cared and shared Lola’s info as well. We had just arrived when all this took place and it was a privilege to witness. YIPPEE!!! (7.31.16 – 8.1.16)

Something scared her on the beach and she ran over the dune into the sea grass. We have walked the beach for 2 hours and are very worried and she frets too
