Area:  Before the railway overpass on Pleasant St., Dartmouth, heading towards Eastern Passage… just after refinery and before Shearwater.  Dog was on the water side of road.

Additional Info:  Sighting: A kind person posted on Kijiji and has notified Animal Control. ” Dog Hit By Motorcycle” The dog was medium size and black and white in colour. The accident happened around 7:50 am this morning right before the CN overpass heading into Eastern Passage (just down the road from the oil refinery) The dog was hit on the waterside of the road, I have looked through the bushes but I couldn’t find him. I have also called Animal Control and they are going to send someone out as well to see if they have any luck locating the poor dog.” NSLDN asks that all keep an eye out for this dog if you are around Pleasant Street – Main Road area. We are not asking for searchers, but if you do see him call Animal Control at 490-4000. This area isn’t dangerous, just a very busy road surrounded by industry. Please DO NOT take any risks.

Additional Notes: We found this dog wondering in the North Range Road , Digby County around 5:30 pm Saturday September 22 .We went to a few houses in the area to see if anybody new who he belong to.Nobody knew who he belong too and one person stated that he had been roaming the area since early Saturday morning.

Additional Info:  The below Chocolate Lab, male, approximately 1.5 – 2 years old was found Monday Sept 17th shortly after noon in the Eastern Passage area near Caldwell Rd and Cow Bay intersection. He is very friendly and well taken care of, he must be missed dearly.  He was taken to Eastern Passage Village Vet to be checked for a chip.

Additional Notes: We found this dear soul wandering the streets and was going to get hit by a car, we took him in and Bathed him and now he is resting comfortably on our bed no less. We are hoping to find this dogs owner, as it looks like he has been well looked after and someone must be missing him terribly. Please help us find his owner.  Unfortunately, it turns out their son was terribly allergic, so this pooch has gone to the Cape Breton SPCA.
