Additional Notes: This nutered male black lab was playing with my dogs this afternoon, he is very happy and friendly with people and other dogs. He seems to know commands such as sit and played fetch very well. He had no collar or tags but seemed in good health. He was left with a neighbour but is now still roaming.

Additional Notes: Not my dog, but FYI of one spotted roaming a short while ago…

Grey, clipped body, grown out head and feet. Est 8-10 lbs.

Initially spotted crossing busy Main Street at approximately 4:30pm Friday. Followed up Earnscliffe Ave toward the Wolfville Children’s Centre where I and a couple other bystanders tried unsuccessfully to wrangle the dog for approximately 25 minutes. She’s very skittish; no one could get within twenty feet without her dashing away.

Employees at the daycare believe the dog is owned by one of their clients and had been trying to reach her for the past hour–thought to answer to the name “Bella”. Although on the move, the little poodle had been roaming in the general vicinity, not straying further than a block away. Daycare staff said they’d touch base with the Town of Wolfville office if her suspected owner didn’t turn up before end of business day.

Additional Notes: This wasn’t my dog. I witnessed this dog being hit by a car. The dog ran away towards the Esso station on Chebucto Road. I’m not sure of the gender. After searching for 2 hours we were unable to find the dog.
