Additional Notes: Skittish Black/Tan Aussie mix sighted roaming in South End Halifax near Dalhousie. Barking, and could not approach as the witness had her own dog with her. Some other people stopped to help and it is unknown if they had success in rounding up this adventurer as they were very spooked and barking. Please share so this dog gets back home safely, thank you.

Additional Notes: This scared Shepherd was caught on security camera three times between 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm… moving quickly through the yard, it was difficult to determine the dogs sex or if it was wearing a collar. Very skittish, possibly scared away from home due to New Years Fire works. Please. Share.

Additional Notes: I unfortunately just hit a dog on the Hardscratch Rd close to the SPCA in Yarmouth. It was some kind of brown and black hound looking mix that ran out of the ditch and in front of me before I could react and I hit it. I couldn’t find it after I got the car pulled over. I checked ditches and drove up and down and couldn’t find it anywhere. It must have kept running, but anyone who has a dog by that description near the SPCA should go check on their dog as it may have run home and could be injured. 😣

Additional Notes: Small German Shepherd mix with floppy ears sighted this morning near Cheverie. Walked into my yard but ran off into the woods when I went outside. I’ve never seen this dog in the area before. It squatted to use the bathroom, so could be a female or young male.

Additional Notes: I just saw two dogs walking along Peggy’s Cove Road and turn down Boutiliers Cove. One was an female adult beagle with no collar or tags, she had a white head and had an orange spot on the top of the neck. Seen with another dog looked to be a mostly White and Black Border Collie with a pink collar, no tags.

Additional Notes: I was just driving up north Barrington and spotted what looked to be a mini tan coloured poodle running north bound. It looked to be about 10 pounds or so? It went under fencing by Wilson’s gas. I think it was wearing a red collar. I would have pulled over and tried to call it over, but there was too much traffic and no where to pull off at.
