Additional Notes: Found this beauty in our area April 15, 2017. Have looked around the neighborhood to find parents but not successful. Will try the Fundy Vets to see if they know her.

Additional Notes: Two dark gold Golden Retrievers. Both similar size, not sure if they are male or female. Were very unsure and wouldn’t come to us.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From his family: “Yes it was Max, he is safe and sound.” Thanks to the kind people who tried to get Max safely off the streets. And thanks to all who cared and shared his info. Yippee!! (2.19.17 – 2.20.17)

Additional Notes: Spotted lost and spooked dog. Terrier. Won’t come for snacks, etc. Dark tan mix coat, longer fur. Terrier. Spotted at bottom of Brookdale Crescent. Approaches cars and people. Barks. Checks each car, but when you are the ‘ wrong’ car, barks, and won’t come closer. Have tried with treats, kneeling on road, etc. I have called animal control with this information. They are enroute .

Additional Notes: He was a (mostly) white Great Dane with small black spots. Didn’t see a collar on him. Was friendly and curious, but ran away when the outdoor light switched on.

Additional Notes: German Shepherd running loose at my place on Curry road a few minutes ago (6:00 pm). It had a full harness on which looked like a dog team harness, blue mesh harness. Tried to call it but got skittish and headed for main road. Please pass word along. Hate to see an animal out in this weather.

Additional Notes: She is very sweet. She was found a week ago by folks trying to help get her home, but they were unable to find her owners. She is safe with Animal Control until Wednesday, Feb 1, 2017 when she will go up for adoption via the SPCA. She is being called Lilly for the time being. She looks like a puppy in the photo, but is apparently full grown and about a year old.

Area: NS Community College Grounds, Main St at Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: …wanted to report a roaming amstaff running down the middle of main street in Dartmouth. Large reddish brown amstaff, with collar and tags. He ran off to the side of the road beside the NS community college located at main street and Woodlawn road and could be on or near the grounds. I circled around to try and catch him but no luck. I contacted animal control and gave a description. This dog was approximately at least 70 to 80Hey pounds and solid rust color. Hopefully he/she makes her way home.
