HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Dogs owner was looking and a friend put 2 and 2 together. Thanks to all that shared. (2.15.13 – 2.15.13)

Sex: Male, Age: 3 or 4 years

Collar/Tags: Collar but no tags

Found on: 02/15/2013

Area: Lakeview Ave., New Germany, Lunenburg, NS

Additional Notes: This dog was found wondering on the property this morning, have contacted several people, no one seems to know who’s dog it is. He/She is well behaved, listens well, appears to be well looked after, we have fed and gave water to the dog, and had him in the house here. He was located in a subdivision on New Germany Lake Road (Hwy#10) New Germany , Nova Scotia. Please help us locate the dogs owner(s).

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away.  It’s with a heavy heart that we share this news from the Owners: “Sad news: Kenny has been found not far from where he went missing, but has passed away.  Some closure after a few months of wondering. Thanks for all your help NSLDN.”  Our sincerest condolences go out to Kenny’s family. (1.8.13 – 3.10.13)

 

UPDATED: Jan. 9, 2013 – Half a HAPPY ENDING: From the Owners: “Shankly (one at the top) has returned…still no sign of Kenny. Last heard in the woods of Dean’s Corner”

Collar/Tags:  red and black collar with a Red/pink 2012 Lunenburg Dog tag as well as a bone shaped name tag

Area: between Upper First Peninsula Road and the water, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, NS

Additional Notes:  lost on first peninsula, last seen/heard behind “The Ernst’s Farm” in the wood by the inlet.  Kenny is Predominately Black with brown spots and a white diamond on the nape of the neck. Has a brown Head and snout. It also looks like he is wearing eyeliner. Both dogs are friendly and may come if called.
