Additional Notes: light grey, curly coat, hair on head and ears is kinky; Karma is deaf, partially blind, and gets confused. She wears a collar with a red heart tag with her name on it and www.elderdog.ca

She is not known to stray. Seems to have vanished We do not expect that she was taken by an animal or bird of prey. She lives in a fairly remote location in a rural area. We have been combing the area to no avail. Have made all appropriate notifications and postering.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! From her Family: “Shadow has been found!!  She’s home safe and sound and seemingly no worse for the ordeal.  The fresh snow worked to our advantage and several fresh tracks were reported. A local man with a tracking dog found her about 0.5 km away…….he sat for about 30 minutes while she circled him and gained his trust.” Shadow’s family did everything right, right from the beginning – alerting organizations, neighbours, the public, searching, reaching out for help.  Well done!! Thanks to all those that cared and shared her info. Fantastic! (3.21.14 – 3.23.14)
