HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! YEAH!!!! From a Gena, the witness: “While biking today i ran into the lady we worked with at the time. Turns out they are senior dogs (15) who belong or are part of Northwood Centre and had travelled with a group of seniors and other dogs for a picnic at Lewis Lake (Provincial Park) and got away. It so happened the lady went for a picnic there later and heard the gentleman calling the dogs. She asked for description and bingo! He went right to the trail and the dogs had stayed hanging there. It explains the dogs condition but the lab was very dirty and may have gotten stuck or tired from walking so far.” This is an amazing ‘tail’ of luck, kind heartedness, and hard work… well done to everyone on the ground and to those who cared and shared his info. She has short smooth coat – spots like a beagle but otherwise she’s a cream colour.
