Additional Notes: Rita has a Husky body with Shepherd ears. She is probably about 15 pounds now. She managed to escape from our yard Tuesday morning into Victoria Park. She is very friendly, but is obviously an escape artist, so please put her in a garage or closed space if you find her.

Additional Notes: STRAY DOG FOUND ROAMING IN DUTCH SETTLEMENT, N.S.

Black and White longed haired Border Collie, very calm, loving dog but he seems nervous…..we have been looking after him for over a week and he hasn’t shown any aggression towards us or our cats, he has been sleeping in our porch at night and when he goes out he doesn’t leave the yard. If this wonderful animal belongs to you please call a.s.a.p. we can’t keep him much longer……

Area: Sackville Drive, (across from the Millwood High School Sign), Lower Sackville, HRM, NS

Additional Notes: She is a small, caramel coloured possible poodle mix, with only a little tiny tail. Very short ears with a sharp snout, and tight curly fur. Would weigh approximately 10 pounds. Was taken to Cobequid Animal Hospital around 7:30 p.m. on 08/29/13 to be checked for a microchip. None was found, and she is staying there overnight. She is not hurt, and is now safe. Doesn’t appear to be afraid of people, and was comfortable in a car. She was hungry, but otherwise appeared fine.

RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away – It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Cheka has been found and has passed away after being hit by a car on the highway.  We know this because two people did the right thing and came forward with their info; the man who actually hit Cheka and the RCMP Officer that confirmed it was Cheka.  At least the family knows now and will be able to start moving forward.  May she rest in peace.  (8.29.13 – 8.31.13)
