Additional Notes: There was a storm recently, i let him out yesterday but everything was fine he came back. This morning around 10am i let him outside and when i went out to check up on him, there was part of the fence blown down from the storm and that is where he got out from. He has Smooth black fur, has a white colored belly and white paws. The tip of his tale has a tiny bit of white fur. He’s very friendly and trained well. The very tips of his ears droop down. He has was scratched in the neck from a cat when he was a puppy so he would have a line on his neck ( it not noticeable unless you’re really close to check because it’s white fur there).

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yippee! The owner picked this adventurous girl up at Homeward Bound City Pound this morning. Yeah!! Thanks to the kind folks who took her in and HBCP for keeping her safe…and to all who cared and shared. (1.12.14 – 1.13.14)

Additional Notes: This dog showed up in my yard around 130 January 12th 2014. She is a sweet little dog who was trained very well, knows all commands. She is mostly white with brown patches around her eyes, one brown spot on her side, and a brown tail. Her eyes look like she has cataracts, or is going blind. Her paws are discoloured in the back, making them look more brown and red. No tags, no collars. Found in the auburn area of cole harbour.

Additional Notes: Lucy went missing this morning around 11 am while on a walk at the Ashburn golf course in Fall River. Last seen near a flooded out bridge inside the course. She will come if called, a big sook and absolutely approachable by a stranger. At the time she went missing other dog walkers started helping to search for her, with 30 people, 2 RCMP and our whole family looking (and still there looking) no one has even caught a glimpse of Lucy. We have a very sad 6 year old missing his puppy so any help would be so appreciated in finding her!

Additional Notes: Brown and black with a white muzzle. About 7 1/2 years old. 8-10 lbs. not neutered, no collar, never out roaming before, likely very fearful. Long haired ungroomed, greeting muzzle, barks a lot, fussy about treats, people food will attract him better. Sometimes limps from hip surgery years ago. Nips sometimes. He is my neighbours dog. I am going to get ready and go walk the neighbourhood to try and find him. He will be very afraid. He has little dog syndrome and barks at anything that moves when he is in his yard.

Additional Notes: Hunter is mixed breed with a mostly black and copper (orangish brown) coat with a bit of white on his chest. His coat is short and smooth. He is approximately 45 lbs. He is very friendly with all people including children and loves other dogs. He does have a microchip but does not have a tattoo. He became lost when he escaped through an open gate in the back yard.

Area:  Flemming Park, Purcell’s Cove Rd., Halifax, NS

Additional Info:  Latest sighting: 1.9.14 – “Male black lab, red collar. Seen morning of Jan 09 walking up sidewalk on Purcells Cove Rd, just past Flemming park and school.” This dog has also been sighted along the road leading to the Dingle Tower in Fleming Park, as well as the entrances to the Frog Pond on Purcell’s Cove Rd. No one has been able to approach it to read it’s tags. It is scared – please call Animal Control if you see this dog roaming.

Additional Notes: He was last seen at 10am Jan 7/ 2014. he is a black and white short hair husky with a curly tail. Full size adult male, roughly 1.5 years old and fixed. He is very friendly and it is easy to tell him apart , his right eye is brown and left eye is blue.

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! From the Owner: “Yeah, now i am crying for joy. A couple almost hit her in the fog last night. They didn’t want her to keep running, so they stopped, and when the woman opened her door, Sasha hopped right in!”  Although this was solved before we had a chance to post Sasha, her owner wanted to spread the happy news and thank the finders for their kindness. She got out when my door blew open while i was at work.
