HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!!!! He is HOME after 47 days ~ he was sighted during the rain on Wed. … they went to get a live trap and were able to get him last night. Hasn’t lost that much weight – they will take him to the Vet for a check over… Thanks so much to all who cared and shared Smokies info.  Woohoo…!!!!! (8.17.15 – 10.4.15)

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From his Finder: “I still have him and I just spoke with his owner!! She described him to a tee and will be here to get him soon! He spent the night very well in the crate, was comfy and nested in a blanket I had for him. Had a few walks, a bit of breakfast, and is visiting with my coworkers in a comfy air-conditioned office.” Terrific news… thanks so much to all who cared and shared his info… yippee!! Additional Notes: FOUND – Black Lab and Yellow Lab travelling together. Both adult – Yellow Lab looked senior. Black Lab had green collar and few inches of broken chain. The two dogs were travelling together and were caught on Lawrencetown Lane on June 4/15. They were spotted roaming several days before that, travelling through from the Trout Lake Road area down to the 201 heading East (it is unknown if they were roaming all that time or found their way home and got loose again).

Additional Notes: This dog was found running on Hwy 8 in Graywood, Annapolis Royal, NS. He is in wonderful shape, neutered, beautiful teeth, very well socialized with other dogs… we have three Pugs and he is getting along with them super fine… 🙂 Other than being a little dirty he is doing great. He seems a little confused right now… he whines every now and then. He is not sure why he is not home.
We are planning to take him to the Bridgetown vet in the morning to have him scanned for a micro chip. We are praying he has one so we can get him home to his owners as soon as possible. They must be frantic.
He is safe and sound until we find his true people.
