HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah! There is a Shepherd that lives nearby and is allowed to wonder, we feel it was most likely this dog that was sighted as there have been no reports of a missing dog, or more sightings. Thank you to all who cared and shared this Shepherd’s info. Yeah! (11.29.18 – 12.1.18)

Breed or Mix: German Shepherd

Sex: Unknown (possibly male), Age: Adult

Collar/Tags: Collar/tags

Sighted on: 11/29/2018

Area: Bedford, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: A German Shepherd was sighted along Rocky Lake Dr by Duke St headed towards the Bedford Commons. Classic Shepherd looks, young Adult, possibly male, and skittish. The witmess tried to help, but the dog was spooked and ran. Animal Control is being alerted.

    There is what looks like a German shepherd that is laying on the side of the 102 highway near the Larry Uteck exit. seen 01/12/2018 around 3:30pm.

      There is reason to believe that the animal killed on the 102 is a Coyote and not a Shepherd. Thank you for your help though, it is appreciated.
