HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound: Lost Dog: Brooklyn (Newport area), (West) Hants Co., NS — Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (Toller), Female, 1 Yr — “Sequin, Squeakers”

Sequin, Squeakers

HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound! Yeah!! From her very, very happy family: ” She’s home! The Dill’s saw her across the way, and on our drive up the hill there she was in the ditch. She cautiously approached us (I had food, yum) and once close enough to Justin went wiggling happily into his arms.” Fantastic, they did everything right! They want to thank their community for being so wonderful and who helped so much in getting Sequin back home. And to let them know, they’re off to deliver their baby but will remove the rest of the posters when back home! lol We wish them all the best! YIPPEE!! Thanks again to all who cared and shared. Additional Notes: Sequin is a pure bred Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, she’s approximately 18 inches at the shoulders and weighs 32lbs. She’s a year and 1 month old. She does has a chip that is registered to her breeder in Alberta. She is Red with a white blaze, four white paws and a darker pigmented nose.

Around 10 pm my husband had let her outside on a tie out and then came to help me up (I’m 40 weeks pregnant), went to the back door and found that she had gotten tangled in the legs of a patio table which caused her to spook. We found the tie out with her collar in the drive way less then a minute after she had been put out. We walked the neighbourhood and then drove the streets but have been unable to spot her. We’re new to the area so she doesn’t have a favourite place or destination on walks yet.
