If owner is not found, I am interested in adopting this fur baby
Hey Trudy,
We appreciate your heartfelt offer, however, we are all about getting dogs back to their families. If that can’t happen, we advise the finders to contact Animal Control and local reputable rescues. This was a sighting of a roaming dog, no one has this dog and it very well could be home by now. If you are interested in adopting a rescue dog, we suggest you look on petfinder.com or contact local rescues/shelters.
Best of luck,
Ann Morrison

I saw a roaming boxer today on the Rails-to-Trails above the Surfside Inn in Queensland. I stopped to speak to her/him but the dog was very timid and backed away from me. She/he disappeared down the hill towards Hwy. 3. So sad.
That is the same area we saw it last evening (may 6th) wandering on the hwy 3 though.

Around 5:15 pm I saw a tan Boxer go by my house which is near the Fitzroy river in Hubbards and it headed up to the rails to trails.
Same dog seen again on Hwy 103 just East of Exit 6 (on the straight stretch) today – Sunday, May 7th @ 515pm. It was along the roadway and then in by the treeline. It would not come out or near anyone that did stop.
