Amber
HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! YIPPEE!!! Fantastic news… Today’s reported sighting has lead to Amber’s capture and subsequent return home. Amber has the best owners who will never forget the Summer of 2015. They did everything right, patience being one and were able to lure Amber in close enough to capture her tonight. Thanks so much to the kind folks who have been feeding her and keeping her in one area. And a huge thanks to the kind folks who continued to share Amber’s post … we are all so thrilled and wish Amber and her family a well deserved rest. Woowhoo!!! (6.22.15 – 8.15.15)
Breed or Mix: Siberian Husky
Sex: Female, Age: 12 years
Collar/Tags: Blue collar with a reflective silver stripe down the middle
Lost on: 06/22/2015
Area: Aylesford, Kings Co., NS
Additional Notes: At 10:30 p.m. Amber went missing out of the yard. She is a rescue dog who we adopted 4 years ago. She is very timid and scared of people and cars. She will not come to you even if you call her by name. She has arthritis in one front leg and gets lame after excessive walking, so out running is not good for her. If you see her or even hear dogs barking in the Aylesford area please call right away.

Amber was spotted at 4 a.m. on June 23 on Victoria Rd. in Aylesford near Maple Ave.
Please post on your timeline. Thanks
Amber was possibly seen in the Middleton area around noon on June 26th. If it was her she may be injured as the message said the dog “ran into a car but then ran off.”
Hello Amanda,
I will bump Amber later this evening. I do have to give other dogs time in the ‘top’ spot.
Do make sure to add this information under her post and also to notify Animal Control of this possible sighting.
Janet
I am also going to contact Middleton Vets and CAPS tomorrow.
Hi Janet or Anne
It seems Amber may be hanging out in Aylesford…..what are the chances we can borrow a live trap?
