Breed or Mix: Black/Brown Retriever Mix (feathery tail and coat)

Sex: Male, Age: adult

Collar/Tags: could not see

Lost on: 03/20/2015

Area: 488 Ketch Harbour Road, Bear Cove, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: This dog was just SIGHTED. My dogs alerted me that someone was on the verandah and when I went to look the dog was running up my driveway and went on to Ketch Harbour Road in the direction of Herring Cove. It was dark in colour either dark brown or black, medium-large in size. This was at 6:30pm (Friday, Mar. 20th)

    My husband and I have spotted a dog matching this description several times in the last four days roaming in the woods near Ravenscraig subdivision. It is dragging its long tail and may be injured.

      Hi Shannon,

      If you see this dog again, please call Animal Control right away by dialling 311, extension 5. It may take awhile to get through with all the snow calls, but it’s worth trying as they can respond and may catch this dog and bring it to safety. Thank you so much.
