RAINBOW BRIDGE: Passed Away: We send heartfelt condolences to these sweet puppy’s family. Thin ice on a nearby lake is the culprit. It’s been a long struggle for their family and friends, we wish them all some peace from knowing and send them strength at this difficult time. (1.23.15 – 5.11.15)

Breed or Mix: Vimy (Beige): Golden Doodle and Goldie (Black): Bernedoodle

Sex: Vimy (Beige): Male, and Goldie (Black): Female Age: Vimy (Beige ) is 10 months and Goldie (Black) is 2 yrs

Collar/Tags: Not sure

Lost on: 01/23/2015

Area: Timberlea, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: They usually travel together but may have been separated.

    Hi there,

    Four years ago I lost my dog in the exact same way in Shubie Park. I was devestated to say the least. My dog bolted into the woods after being scared by another dog. She was a rescue dog and was naturally very nervous of most people. She was lost for 5 days in January.

    Many people came to the park to help find her and thank goodness for them! I had called animal control and it was the first time, a live trap was set to help catch her. It worked! I had put out some of my clothes so the dog could get my scent and know i was close. She was drawn to a backyard through the woods that had a sheltered deck. so set up a live humane trap there and put my clothes inside. I’m sure you have tried everything! Please let me know how I can come help search for your dogs. i wouldn’t have mine back without the help of many amazing strangers. don’t stop looking!

    Sightings of possible VIMY ……Bruvello Golf Course, near the Coke Plant, near the little Bridge at Trinity Way, Also sighted on Parkdale and the Tim Hortens……

    He is scared and will not come to anyone.
