HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!! From her Family: “Shadow has been found!!  She’s home safe and sound and seemingly no worse for the ordeal.  The fresh snow worked to our advantage and several fresh tracks were reported. A local man with a tracking dog found her about 0.5 km away…….he sat for about 30 minutes while she circled him and gained his trust.” Shadow’s family did everything right, right from the beginning – alerting organizations, neighbours, the public, searching, reaching out for help.  Well done!! Thanks to all those that cared and shared her info. Fantastic! (3.21.14 – 3.23.14)

Additional Notes: Shadow is a small, timid golden retriever who is new to our area. She will be very scared and completely lost. She was recently groomed so her hair is relatively short for a golden. Her face is getting quite white with age. Dark eyes with long lashes.
