Area: Before the railway overpass on Pleasant St., Dartmouth, heading towards Eastern Passage… just after refinery and before Shearwater. Dog was on the water side of road.
Additional Info: Sighting: A kind person posted on Kijiji and has notified Animal Control. ” Dog Hit By Motorcycle” The dog was medium size and black and white in colour. The accident happened around 7:50 am this morning right before the CN overpass heading into Eastern Passage (just down the road from the oil refinery) The dog was hit on the waterside of the road, I have looked through the bushes but I couldn’t find him. I have also called Animal Control and they are going to send someone out as well to see if they have any luck locating the poor dog.” NSLDN asks that all keep an eye out for this dog if you are around Pleasant Street – Main Road area. We are not asking for searchers, but if you do see him call Animal Control at 490-4000. This area isn’t dangerous, just a very busy road surrounded by industry. Please DO NOT take any risks.
