HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe n’ Sound!! Yippee!!! From the Owner:  “COCO’s BEEN FOUND! I just picked her up from a cafe on Quinpool where she’d been making new friends all day. One of the employees called Animal Services, who I contacted on the direction of your site and filed a Lost Pet Report. I cannot thank you enough for all of you help, and the help of your organization. I am so thankful to have found her… It was a terrifying wait, wondering whether or not she’d be found at all.”  (9.2.12 – 9.2.12)

Additional Notes: Coco responds very well to her name. She is small (about 40lbs) and hyper, and will be fully attentive to anyone holding a ball. She recently had an allergic reaction to bug bites and has visible scanning around her neck. She also has a double toe on each of her two back paws. Her coloring is that of a Shepard but her physique is more lab like. Her coat is medium length and shiny.

She is my little brother’s dog and was staying with me in Halifax. She slipped through a small hole in the fenced-in back yard which lead to her missing. She does not know the Halifax area. We live very close to the Halifax Commons.

We would really appreciate any assistance that anyone is able to offer. We have filed a missing dog report and have called a number of vets and pounds, though most are closed today (Sunday). Coco does not have a dog tag or metro dog ID. We are very hopeful that someone will report her found… Thank you so much.
