HAPPY ENDING: Home, Safe and Sound! Yippee!!! From the Owners: “Great news!!! Rex is back home!! Big Thank You to Wes, our neighbor for seeing Rex and getting him in the car… You have made a family very happy :)”  Thanks also to all who shared Rex’s info, just terrific! (3.10.12 – 3.11.12)

 

Breed or Mix: Black Lab

Sex: Male, Age: 7

Collar/Tags: No ID but had a black gray collar on.

Lost on: 03/10/2012

Area: Timberlea, Maple Lake Rd, Halifax, NS

Additional Notes: Colour – Black with a bit of gray coming in around his chin.
Tattoo on right ear.
~ 80lbs
~ 2 feet tall
7 years old
Strong swimmer
He just took off into the woods. Not neutered and it’s spring. It happened @ aprox 10:00am March 10 while walking off leash in the new subdivision being built in Timberlea, close to exit 4 off of the 103.Enter onto Eider St off of the St Margaret’s Bay Rd / # 3 hwy.

    Rex has been delivered home, safely and in good health. A bit worn out from spending the night outside. Thanks to many who passed this message along and for a neighbour, who we have yet to meet, who cared enough to go out of his away to help bring Rex home when he spotted Rex in his backyard this morning.
