RESOLVED: SAFE: Lost Dog: Slayter Street, Dartmouth, Halifax Co., NS — Jack Russell/Australian Cattle oDg mix, Female, Less than 1 year — "Sasha"

RESOLVED: SAFE!! Sasha was just trying to get back home when she was hit by a car… thanks to a good Samaritan, Animal Control was called and she was rushed to the Vet where she was identified (micro chip) and assessed.  As it turns out, poor Sasha has a broken jaw and head trauma.  She is still being cared for at the vets and our thoughts and prayers go out to her for a full recovery.  If you would like to help, Animal Rescue Coalitions have taken custody and are asking for donations to help cover her $2500 vet bill.  Her website is here:.http://www.gofundme.com/dun6w

UPDATE: 1/28/12 – 20:20 – ‎*** Sasha was being fostered in Cole Harbour – … and may be trying to get back to her foster home. *** (JanetC)

Sasha is found and is at the Vet getting an assessment.

Would just like to clarify that animal control did not rush this dog to vet. They may have been called but good Samaritan Angela Smith stopped her car after many others continued to drive over Sasha while she lay helpless after being struck!. Angela reacted selflessly and got Sasha off the busy 118(near bridgevtoll booths)and rushed her to vets.
