FOUND: Roaming Dog: Australian Shepherd, blue merle, adult - Radcliff Dr, Clayton Park, NS
Happy Ending: I’m willing to take a chance on this dog being reunited with it’s owners. As HRM has to legally keep a found dog for three business days, and from what I saw on their website, this dog was gone after a day. It is highly likely it was reunited with it’s owners. Thanks everyone!
A black, white and grey sheltie (Australian Shepherd <AM>) was found this morning (June 24th) around Radcliff Drive and the walking path. I believe the dog is female, probably around 6-8 years old, very friendly and a little ‘chubby’. He/She had a black nylon collar but no tags and no microchip. Halifax Animal Services Officer Doug Teeft picked up the dog and assured me the dog would be well looked after. Several people recognized the dog from the area but did not know the owners address.
