UPDATE: SIGHTED: 6.13.14 – These dogs were spotted on Friday (6.13.14) in the South Maitland area, first by the Information Centre and then across Hwy 215. The 2 dogs sighted looked lost and on a mission. Skinny but OK. PLEASE SHARE, let’s get these boys home.

Breed or Mix: Valley Bulldog (Gus) & Boxer (Jake)

Sex: Males, Age: 7(Gus) & 5 (Jake)

Collar/Tags: Brown studded collar (Gus) – No Collar (Jake)

Additional Notes: Jake is a 5 yr old boxer with a white chest. He is not wearing a collar he weighs approx 80 lbs. Gus is a white and brindle valley bull dog wearing a brown studded collar and weighs approx 50 lbs. Both dogs are friendly however they have never wandered off our property for any length of time therefore may be scared. They went missing between 1-2 pm April 22. Any sightings or information pls contact us – these dogs are more then dogs they are our family so even the smallest detail would be so greatly appreciated! Help us bring our boys home

Area: Papermill Lake, Bedford, NS

Additional Notes: Both nervous but very friendly, very gentle dogs. Found roaming and very skittish through backyards and across roads in Papermill Lake area of Bedford. Valley Bulldog is mostly white with brindle markings, the Bulldog is reddish. No collars. Were very playful. Larger dog female, and smaller bulldog was male, unneutered. Found approx. 9:30am this morning. They have been picked up by Animal Control. Just wanted to note that Animal Control officer was amazingly kind and patient with these dogs, especially the big one who didn’t want to get in the kennel. Thank you.

Additional Notes: He is brown and white and he has black over one eye . He’s a short haired dog, valley bulldog , looks like a small boxer . Very friendly answers to Riley , has a brown leather collar on with his name and our number .
