Jaxon

HAPPY ENDING: Home and Safe!! YEAH!! From his Family: “Jaxon was reported missing on August 3rd. He was found this afternoon!!! (at the vets now)… His leg is most likely broken. Thank you so much for helping us spread the word about Jax.” Awe… so thrilled that Jaxon was found and we all wish him a speedy recovery. Thanks so much to all who kept an eye out, re-routed their trips, searched and cared and shared his info. YIPPEE!! (8.3.15 – 8.8.15)

RECOVERY UPDATE: 8.19.15 ~ Jax will have a metal pin in his leg for at least the next three weeks. I think the hardest part for him is not being able to swim or play with his “girlfriend” Coco!  He had a check up this past Monday and the vet is so pleased with his progress so far!

Breed or Mix: Bouvier / Standard Poodle

Sex: Male, Age: 3

Collar/Tags: Red RuffWear Collar, HRM and Rabies Tags, Name Tag

Lost on: 08/03/2015

Area: Rocky Lake Dr. (between Provincial Picnic Park [2535] and Legion [2234]), Waverley, Halifax Co., NS

Additional Notes: Jaxon is a friendly dog and has a slightly shy demeanor. He has shorter hair then the photo he has been just recently groomed. He is approximately 75 lbs, stands 28 inches at the shoulder and has a docked tail. We know he has been grazed by a car and limped away from the scene near the picnic park on Rocky Lake Rd.

Our sheep dog Shaggy is also missing in Waverley after Aug 4th early morning storm. I have searched ditches along Cobequid and 102 and am doing an extensive search of the woods behind the fire school.

I hope you find him soon.
